Course Overview

Why is it that in the sporting world coaches are seen as an integral part of individual and team performance, yet in the corporate world, coaching is often viewed as something completely different? If the world’s most elite athletes have coaches to help them become better, why not teach your managers and team leaders how to take a “coaching approach” to improve their people’s performance?

Learning how to have on-the-job coaching conversations is a simple yet powerful way to inspire employees to perform at a higher level. After all, who doesn’t enjoy receiving affirmative feedback?

During this hands-on one-day training program participants are given the opportunity to practice the GROW coaching conversation model devised by Sir John Whitmore. This engaging training program will raise each participant’s self-awareness and social management skills for supporting the team members who they are coaching and leading.
